FORKLIFT DRIVER - GELDERMALSEN

The company where are you going to start is situated in the middle of fruit orchards. They take care that all the apples and peers smoothly go to stores all over the Netherlands. If you only want you will be the part of this big fruit family soon.

WHAT ARE YOUR TASKS?
In the packing station all fruits are sorted according to the quality and size so you need to have a keen eye for detail. Apples and peers are then packed in different boxes and go further - mostly to the supermarkets all over The Netherlands.
As a forklift driver you will be an important link in this process!
You start the day armed with your order from production line. You go to the refrigerator to get pallets with apples or pears which are necessary on the production lines.
With the help of your forklift you go there loaded with storage boxes fully filled with fruits.
On the lines you help with unloading and you check the quality of the products, you need to perform small administrative tasks. At the end of the day you go to the production line to take the empty boxes and pallets.
At last but not least you clean the machine and then you free to go home.
TIME OF WORK
You will work from Monday to Friday on two shifts
Morning shift: 6:00 - 15:00
Afternoon shift: 15:00 - 24:00
Or on the other department on 1 shift with different start hours but between 06:00 - 19:00
Work week is 40 hours
ARE YOU THE ONE?
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:
have forklift certificate or have experience as forklift driver and would like to get a certificate
speak good English (Dutch might be too ;)), so they could understand instructions at work
live close Geldermalsen or Tiel
work well independently
work accurately and quickly
have the ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload
